After nine weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, Drake’s Views is dethroned from the top slot by Blink-182’s new set, California. The latter debuts at No. 1 with 186,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 7, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 172,000 were in traditional album sales — the third-largest sales week for a rock album in 2016.
California also marked blink’s first No. 1 album in the UK as well! Huge milestones hit with this release!

“Bored to Death” blink-182’s new lead single from their upcoming seventh studio album has reached number 1 on the Billboard Alternative songs chart. This is blink’s first number 1 single on the chart since the bands hit single “I Miss You” topped the chart back in 2004.
The trio, whose seventh album, California, drops on Friday, earns its third No. 1 on the airplay-based chart (dated July 9) and its first in over 12 years with the set’s lead single, “Bored to Death.”
