Last night Angels & Airwaves kicked off their latest world tour with a show at the House of Blues, Anaheim. The band played a total of 15 songs from their 4 records including the Boxcar racer song “There Is”.

We did the band performance section in a hangar that was built in the 1940s to construct blimps inside of. It’s the world’s largest freestanding wooden structure, so there’s an interesting piece of trivia for you. It was just this really cool setting — the way that they lit it, the way that they shot it. It just had this really industrial yet organic feel to it.

Angels and Airwaves announced seven new tour dates today for their upcoming European tour in April next year. Tickets go on sale December the 16th and the dates are as follows:

Update: Five new dates announced four of which are in Germany and one in Belgium.

The Bamboozle music festival will be announcing its lineup tomorrow but by accident Ticketmasters website became public ahead of time today revealing the festivals three headlining acts, which are blink-182, Foo fighters and Bon Jovi.

The festival will take place the 18th, 19th and 20th of May next year in New Jersey before Blinks European tour. For info on ticket prices click here.

Check out blink’s performance on KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas concert. Blink took the stage as the headlining act and played a total of 16 songs including their renowned holiday song “I won’t be home for Christmas”.
