A Different Spin Promo Shoot

Mark posted a new blog entry with some pictures from his recent promo shoot for “A Different Spin”.

Day 1 of the promo shoot for A Different Spin. Did about ten commercials today and going back again tomorrow morning for a second full day. Lots of professional video and audio people, writers, producers, and executives, all there to watch me talk about me. It’s official now that both the New York and LA based crews are awesome, smart, funny, creative people to work with. This is going to be fun! Also, for those of you who work in the film industry, please explain to me what it means when, after a take, the director says “Well, we should probably go on the next shot, maybe he’ll get that one right”?

Carry It: “Punch You in the Face” Music

Joined by RZA, Raekwon, and Tom Morello, Travis Barker finished filming the video for his first single ‘Carry It’ yesterday evening. MTV caught up with Travis about his new video, which he said was “just about us playing together.” You can see pictures from the photoshoot on our forum.

There was never any corny ideas, just us rocking out. That’s what’s good about it. The track’s raw; it’s not candy-coated… This is like ‘punch you in the face,’ real hype music.
